According to the UAE government, Pakistan document attestation is mandatory for using Pakistan-issued documents in UAE. All documents must be attested by MOFA Pakistan, and the government of the Islamic republic Pakistan before the Embassy of UAE accepts it. Attestation of Pakistan issued Marriage certificate for UAE

Procedure for marriage certificate attestation from UAE embassy in Pakistan:

Pakistan document attestation could be a lengthy process. A certificate has to be attested by many government authorities before final attestation. Here are the procedures for attesting your marriage certificate for use in UAE.

a) Ministry of foreign affairs Pakistan

MoFA Pakistan only authenticates the attestation done by other government authorities by checking the attestation and signature. The marriage certificate should be printed in Urdu/English to get attestation from MoFA. If you want to translate your marriage certificate first, get it from a government-approved translation center. Marriage certificate attestation can be done from the Camp offices of the Ministry at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Islamabad.

b) UAE Embassy – Pakistan

After getting attestation from MoFA, you have to get attestation for your marriage certificate from the Embassy of UAE in Islamabad. Individual applications for attestation are not accepted by UAE. It can be done only through authorized organizations.

c)Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE

After attesting your marriage certificate from MoFA Pakistan and UAE Embassy, you can apply for attestation from MOFA Attestation UAE. This is the final step in attesting your marriage certificate for use in UAE.

Documents required for Marriage Certificate Attestation for use in UAE :

  • Original Marriage Certificate along with the English Translation
  • The translation should be in color letterhead.
  • Header of the English Translation should read as “Urdu to English Translation”
  • Marriage Registration Certificate issued from Local Union Council.

Attestation of Pakistan issued Birth certificate for UAE

Birth certificate stands as the official document for identifying a person’s place and date of birth. Your birth certificate should be attested from the respected authorities in Pakistan and MoFA UAE for it to be legally recognized. You will have to provide attested birth certificate while applying for a school admission for your child in UAE. You will also need attested birth certificate when you apply for a permanent residence visa in UAE.

1. Official Birth certificate

2. Passport copies of ID and passport of the parents.

3. Visa Photocopies of both parents (in case the mother doesn’t have a UAE visa then UAE attested Nikka Namma should be provided.

Requirements For Pakistan Certificate Attestation From UAE Embassy

Marriage Certificate
  1. ID cards and passport photocopy for both husband and wife.
  2. The wife’s husband name should be on her id card.
  3. Husband’s UAE visa photocopy
  4. Original marriage certificate along with the English translation.
  5. Header of the English translation should read as “Urdu to English translation.”
  6. Marriage registration certificate issued from local union council.
  7. All the documents that need attestation from UAE embassy should be attested before by ministry of foreign affairs.
Educational Documents - Matric, F.A, Diploma
  1. All the educational certificates that need attestation from UAE embassy should be attested from IBCC and ministry of foreign affairs beforehand.
  2. Photocopy of ID card and passport.
  3. Previous educational record.
  4. Diploma holders should get it attested from IBCC if not they should provide NAVTEC
  5. metric certificate for their diploma attestation.
  6. Married candidates must attach Nikah Nama copy along with the above mentioned docs.
  7. IBCC attestation should not be older than 6 months.
Educational Documents - B.A, M.A, ICAP, ICAMP
  1. B.A & M.A documents should be attested from ministry of foreign affairs and higher education commission prior to UAE attestation.
  2. B.A & M.A documents attested by the higher education commission must not be older than 6 months.
  3. Previous marks sheet photocopies.
  4. Id card and passport photocopy.
  5. ICMAP & ICAP related documents should be attested from both Karachi and Lahore offices along with ministry of foreign affairs prior to UAE attestation.
  6. Letter issued from Karachi office addressed to UAE embassy (please do not open the letter as opened letter will not be entertained).
  7. Female candidates should provide Nikah Nama copies along with the other documents mentioned.
Medical Experience Certificate
  1. The document must be attested from ministry of foreign affairs and ministry of national regulation.
  2. Photo copies of the certificate should be attached along with the photo copies of ID card and passport.
  3. Photocopies of VISA.
Power of Attorney and NOC
  1. Power of Attorney and NOC should be on a stamp paper and should be attested from the following authorities:

    1st class magistrate.

  4. Passport photocopy of the child.

Form B
  1. The birth certificate should be attested from ministry of foreign affairs prior to UAE attestation.
  2. Photocopies of id and passport of both parents.
  3. Visa photocopies of both parents.
  4. Passport photocopy of the child.
  5. In case the mother doesn’t have a UAE visa then UAE attested Nikah Nama should be provided.
Form B
  1. Original form b along with its English translation.
  2. The translation should be in colored print along with the header at the top of the document as “translation from Urdu to English”.
  3. Both the original and the colored translation print should be attested from ministry of foreign affairs prior to UAE attestation.
  4. Id cards and passport photocopy of both parents.
  5. Photocopy of the form B.
  6. Visa photocopies of both the parents.
  7. Passport photocopy of the child.
  8. In case the mother doesn’t have a UAE visa then UAE attested Nikah Nama should be provided.
School Leaving Certificate
  1. The certificate should be attested from the ministry of foreign affairs and IBCC prior to UAE attestation.
  2. IBCC attestation should not be older than 6 months.
  3. A valid passport photocopy of the candidate.
  4. Photocopies of ID card and passport of both parents.
  5. Visa copies of both parents.
Death Certificate
  1. The certificate must be computerized.
  2. The certificate should be attested from ministry of foreign affairs prior to UAE attestation.
  3. ID and passport photocopies of both the deceased and their blood relative.
  4. The blood relative should attach a visa copy as well
Medical Certificate
  1. The certificate should be on a letter head of the doctor.
  2. The certificate should be prepared on a computer.
  3. The certificate should be attested from ministry of foreign affairs prior to UAE attestation.
  4. Photocopies of visa, ID card and the passport of the applicant should be attached
FIR
  1. Original Urdu FIR.
  2. Translation of the FIR should be in both Arabic and English which should be in two columns side by side on one page.
  3. The translation should be in colored print.
  4. Both the original FIR and the translation should be attested from ministry of foreign affairs prior to UAE attestation.
  5. Photocopies of both ID card and old passport.
  6. New passport photocopy along with the visa copy as well.
  7. Sponsor letter must be attached as well.
