A certificate apostille is a water mark or certified stamp that makes important documents certified and legal. The apostille is a French term meaning ‘a certification’. It is mainly a title given to the authentication certificate issued under the Hague Convention, abolishing the requirement of legalization of foreign public documents. The Apostille Certifies to the authenticity of the signature, the capacity in which the person signing the document has acted and where appropriate, the identity of the seal or stamp which the document bears.
Documents issued in one country to be used in or presented to another country must be authenticated or legalized before the other country will recognize those documents and give the documents the legal import given in the jurisdiction of orgination. The Hague legalization convention simplifies the procedure for documents presented to countries adopting the convention prior to Hague convention and for countries which are not members of convention ,the chain authentication procedure was used .this involves multiple authentication by different countries in the chain of issuance .
